FYI - We went with TUXEDO JUNCTION. They have locations across the country and can take care of any attendants in any state and have the best prices and most styles and colors to choose from. You can register your wedding online at www.tuxedojunction.com

Good luck with the tuxes. I'm still amused that the only guy (other than Steve, of course) who had the CORRECT tux on the day of the wedding was my dad... and he didn't even know it was right. Everyone had the right cut of jacket, but the colors for the vest and tie were all wrong. I think that I remember they all had the same color vest, but I don't think it's what I picked out, and they all had black ties, which I KNOW isn't what I picked out. And the two ring bearers didn't match. And the funny thing was, I noticed it all as an after thought when we were taking pictures. And I didn't care a lick. The guys were dressed nicely and they looked good so I just didn't care.

I think when it comes down to it, it's so much less about the silly colors that we nit-pick about so much and more about sharing the day with people that you and your spouse love.

This post is bringing back memories of my own wedding! We never had tux issues - but we had the same logistics concern that you did with bridesmaids - one in Ohio, one in NYC, one in Florida, the rest in the Carolinas. I went with David's Bridal simply because they promised me it would be soooo easy for everyone regardless of location. And that was a flat-out LIE. My NYC bridesmaid ended up with a size 12 dress (and she's a size 2), and she had to pay about $200 to have it altered. My MOH's zipper ripped to shreds moments before we were to walk down the aisle, which was fixed with a needle and thread and a strategically placed wrap. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Their product is crap and their millions of locations do not make them convenient.

That said, I loved my wedding dress from there - and for less than $500, I could not have found a comparable dress anywhere else in nearly that price range. But if I had to do it over again, I'd have the bridesmaids go to White House Black Market and pick out any dress they wanted (they wore black and white.) Great quality, about half the price, and something they could wear again!

We used MW and it was fine. The big thing is that no matter what, make sure someone who will be at your wedding venue when everyone is getting ready, has a sewing kit (and knows how to use it). Crap happens and having someone on hand with some sewing skills can totally save your life :)
