Hi, my name is Christina, aka limpetfan, and you’ve found my personal blog!

I started this blog in October 2007, when my dear friend Whitney convinced me to participate in NaNoWriMo with her.  The original version of The Table Has Shoes (and Other Ambiguities) was simply a place for me to dump words, as practice for the word count craziness of NaNoWriMo.  It has become much more than that to me in the last two years, though.  Now The Table Has Shoes is my escape – a compost pile for my thoughts and opinions, as well as my platform to share things and experiences I think are pretty damn awesome (or appalling!).

And if you’re wondering about the name of this blog… well,  all I am going to say for now is that if you really think about it, you might work out what it means.
