Astronomy: If you’re interested in my astronomy adventures and the shots I take through the telescope with my Canon Digital Rebel DSLR, you can check out my astronomy blog.  I anticipate building it a lot in the next few months, since I’m trying to take pictures of my favorite objects in the night sky as part of the decor at my upcoming wedding reception!

Knitting: I have an amazing friend who knits. When I told her I was interested in learning to knit, too, she was awesome – sent me everything I could possibly need to get started. We have entire email conversations about the subject now, and you can see pictures of my work (I won’t call it masterpieces yet because I’m still learning!) on flickr.com (I’m limpetfan).  *COMING SOON!*

Cooking: Creating interesting dishes or following amazing recipes is something that soothes me.  And I hate admitting it, because it’s my least favorite type of cooking, but I’m a good baker – I make very fancy cupcakes!  On occasion I sell them, but mostly I only do it when someone special asks for them.

Science: I have a MS in Microbiology/Immunology.  I think bacteria are pretty damn cool!  I currently do research a pharmaceutical company in New York.
